Reflecting on Laura Carrol’s Article as well as your rhetorical analysis
1. What have you taken away/ what can you tell me about Rhetoric?
Well first off I wasn’t sure what rhetoric really was until this classroom, but I soon learned its the way people use language in order to persuade or convince other people of ideas. Along with grammar and logic, these are the 3 main arts of dicourse.
2. How does rhetoric relate to critical thinking/reading?
In my opinion, they both are intertwined, rhetoric has to do with specific wording in order to persuade others and critical thinking is similar. Critical thinking helps clear arguments and confusion so one helps the other by testing outcomes and different literacy patterns.
